I have BA in Economics from Dartmouth College and MS in Economics from Lehigh University.

Experience

I have been a high school Economics and Math teacher for over ten years. Classes taught include: Algebra I, II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Discrete Math, AP Statistics and AP Economics both micro and macro. I've also taught micro and macro as an adjunct professor at Eckerd College (Florida). I have been tutoring math/statistics/economics for over 15 years and I love it! I have tutored all levels and ages from high school to college to graduate students - many in nursing programs.

I am originally from DC and entered teaching after working in the world of finance, in both London and Washington, DC. It was through my experience tutoring, coaching and being an adjunct professor that I decided to go into teaching high school as a career. I currently teach and coach at The Out-of-Door Academy in Sarasota, FL. I have been a coach for 20 plus years - lacrosse primarily, but also swimming and soccer. I provide a laid back atmosphere, but make sure we get work done!
