I graduated with a dual bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences and Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida. I am passionate about science and mathematics and that interest led to a two-year tenure as a Supplemental Biology Instructor at UCF's Academic Resource Center. In that role I tutored students in various group settings, focusing on a course's main material and also various study methods. These sessions included reviews of material in order to first assess the students' understanding of the subject matter, followed with tips on how to best process the content, including visual models and memorization techniques. I have extensive experience tutoring in science courses from Microbiology to Physiology, as well as mathematics courses including Algebra and Geometry. I am especially strong teaching the biological sciences as I am extremely well-versed with the diverse subject matter within those fields. I like to examine any weak points students have in a subject and emphasize their strengths to establish a solid foundation of the basics before approaching more complex scenarios. Many times a student thinks he or she cannot find an answer but they really can; it just takes a helping hand to connect theories and information. I bring an energetic personality to the classroom and that stems from my personal life. I enjoy playing and watching most any sport, with favorites like football, running, swimming, and biking.
