Experience
I have many years of tutoring experience through independent contracts with families (in the U.S. and Madrid, Spain) as well as with Big Brothers, Big Sisters. I have worked in after-school programs with bilingual kids, organizing educational games and providing one-on-one attention with homework and research projects. I have a wonderful time tutoring in general, but I love younger kids in particular. Tutoring gives me a sense of satisfaction, which I believe translates into the work I do. I look forward to meeting with students, and naturally make an effort to make the experience as enjoyable and valuable as possible for both of us. I graduated top of my class from Saint Louis University in Missouri. I was very much involved in athletics and diversity-oriented extracurricular programs throughout my four years of undergrad. I am a Martin Luther King Scholar and currently on the Dean's List. I also completed a year of study in Madrid as part of a cultural exchange.
