I believe that education is crucial in order for students to have a better quality of life. This is a belief that I stress to all my students when I work with them.I have worked in a school setting since 1996. I have taught elementary students, and then worked in a school library environment. I have worked in this setting for eight years, serving middle school students. I have also worked as a tutor, where I assisted students in core subjects, and even worked with neighborhood students as well.I am available to tutor students in Reading, Writing, Phonics, Grammar and Mechanics, Literature, Essay Editing, English, Elementary Math, ISEE Lower Level-Middle Level, Middle School Math, and SSAT Elementary Level and Middle Level. I graduated from the University of Houston, Clear Lake, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education. I also minored in English and Reading. I earned my Master of Science in Educational Technology from Walden University.When I am not busy teaching, I love to be active, including practicing yoga and playing tennis.
